Poolrite began in 1978 with a simple promise: build pool equipment Australians can rely on. Nearly five decades later, that promise still drives everything we do, and every Poolrite product is designed and made in Brisbane.
1978
Where it all began
Poolrite opened its first plant in Western Sydney, led by founder Peter Wolpert. From day one the focus was simple: build pool equipment Australians could rely on.
1982
Pool industry innovation
Poolrite introduced the PM Super Quiet (SQI) pump, the forerunner of today's Quietline SQI range and still one of our most popular pumps.
1986
Salt chlorination
Poolrite introduced some of the first salt chlorination systems in Australia and overseas.
2000
The Smart Valve
Our multiport valve design arrived, the forerunner of today's V2000 multiport valve.
2002
A new home in Brisbane
Manufacturing moved to Queensland, where Poolrite products are still made today.
2007
Sustainable solutions
Poolrite Research focused on products that use less water and fewer chemicals, leading to mineral systems like today's Revive and Diamond Kleen glass filter media.
2013
Proudly Australian owned and made
Design, development and manufacturing were brought together under one roof in Brisbane, with the mission of putting Australian-made pool equipment back on its pedestal.
