Precision Control for Poolrite Media Filtration Systems
The Poolrite V2000 Multiport Valve is a purpose-designed filter control valve engineered to provide simple, reliable control over the essential functions of a swimming pool media filtration system.
Developed by Poolrite following several years of research and development, the V2000 was designed to provide reduced restriction to water flow, quieter operation and easy operation, while requiring no routine valve maintenance.
Designed for use with Poolrite media filters, including the S-5000, S-6000 and S-8000 High Rate Sand Filtration Systems, the V2000 provides six clearly defined operating positions from a single convenient control valve.

Six Essential Valve Functions
The V2000 provides complete control over the direction of water through the filtration system:

| Filter | Directs water down through the filter media before returning it to the pool |
| Backwash | Reverses water flow upwards through the media and directs dirty water to waste |
| Rinse | Directs water down through the media and out to waste following backwashing |
| Waste | Bypasses the filter and directs water straight to waste |
| Recirculate | Bypasses the filter and returns water directly to the pool |
| Closed | Prevents water flow through the filter |
These functions allow everyday filtration, filter cleaning, rinsing, water-level reduction and circulation to be managed through one valve.
Important Operating Information
Always switch the filtration pump OFF before changing the V2000 valve position. Poolrite's operating instructions specifically state that the valve handle should not be operated while the pump is running.
The pump must also remain switched off whenever the valve is in the CLOSED position. Before restarting the system, ensure the valve has been returned to the appropriate operating position.
